System Description

Each pedestal consists of a flat steel base plate 100mm x 100mm x 2.5mm thick. The base plate has four 6mm holes near each corner. The holes are on the diagonal 11mm in from the corners. A 25.4mm outside diameter by normally 20mm inside diameter steel tube 25.4mm high is spot welded to the centre of the base plate A threaded steel stud with a thread diameter of 19.8mm is pressed into the base plate tube. A 15.5mm steel nut fits onto the free end of the steel stud. The head consists of a circular steel plate 89mm outside diameter with a 31mm inside diameter hole at the centre, formed by pressing down a circular flanged lip 12mm deep in it. The head is 2mm thick and has four 5.8mm holes spaced evenly around it on a 65mm PCD, 10mm in from the circumference. The last 6mm outer edge of the circular plate is profiled downwards slightly and the circumference truncated slightly at four points evenly spaced around the circumference. A steel tube 70mm long x 25.4mm outside diameter x 20.3mm inside diameter is swaged over the last 25mm of one end such that the free end has an outside diameter of 38.5mm.
